Alonissos Is really a Greek island in the Aegean sea, its the third largest island of the Sporades Islands and the northern island as well. Alonissos island is found near Skopelos. Alonissos Island is famous due to its exceptional mercedes accessories beauty with impressing abysses in the Aegean Sea and its marvelous view.

Alonissos can also be the name of a village on the island and a at the southern end of the island. Many consider that the area of Alonissos has the clearest waters of the Greece Aegean Sea.

The town of Alonissos is found on the southern area of the island. Alonissos farming is extremely build particularly farming and vineyards, with the key products being grapes and olives. fishing is just a popular profession on the island It is a peaceful island, the majority of its villages are old-fashioned and moderate with narrow streets and picturesque buildings and houses. Turists could have a peaceful and calm atmosphere.

The major port of the island is known as Patitiri, it's the money of the island. There are beautiful spots around Patitiri, such as Rousoum village where visitors may like a variety of wanderful beaches and also feeling the calm atmosphere. Beside Rousoum town there are many beautiful towns that deserve a trip, such as: Votsi, Milia, Chrisi Milia, Steni Vala.

Like many other countries nearby Alonissos changed because of the earthquake in 1965. Entire towns were abandoned by the residents and rebuilt in better places. Patitiri also changed because of the earthquake and nowdays it is a new community, built by the people of the area.

Due to the earthquake, the houses of Patititri are typical recent and provide a different picture than of the other Greek islands which often have a little and very picturesque harbor, high in traditional houses. But nonetheless the island and its towns conserves there natural splendor. Wonderful pine woods surrounded the island and its shores. It is the perfac place for couples and people.
