Non-Alcoholic Cheese Fondue
1 cup Apple Cider (to combine with cheese)
1/4 cup Apple Cider (to mix with cornstarch & mustard)
2 tsp Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Onion (finely chopped)
three cups Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
1 tbsp Cornstarch
2/3 teaspoon Mustard Powder
White Pepper (to taste)
Heat the cider, orange juice & onions on medium low heat in your fondue pot
Gradually add the cheese while mixing
Blend cornstarch and mustard in 1/4 cup apple cider
Add mixture to cheese
Include white pepper to taste
Note: if also sweet, add more lemon juice
To Dip:
Crusty Bread cut into bite-sized pieces
Greens - Mushrooms, Potatoes, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Bell Peppers, and so forth.
